When Created?
Advanced Tubular Technologies is a Michigan corporation founded by Michael B. Cone in the fall of 1993. The Advanced Tubular sub-name gives our purpose for existence: "Software Developers for the Tube Fabrication Industry."
Why is it named Advanced Tubular Technologies?
Advanced
While some companies choose to use the paradigm of staying behind the cutting-edge for safety, I prefer to promote a corporate character of advancement and change.
- This means that our corporation will be exploring and searching for better ways to solve problems and applications.
- We will be cutting-edge and exploratory in character.
- We will strive to be early testers and adopters of new technology
Tubular
It was my desire to create a name that clearly reflected the corporation's purpose. Vague names were rejected because they did not immediately associate the company with the concept of "tubing."
Technologies
We are primarily a software company. We also design and sell electronics where necessary.
