NEW: Springback-Compensated LRA Grids
NEW: Multi-Elongation Percentage Compensation
FIX: Springback Compensation for Bender Output
When VTube-STEP calculated springback into bender values, it incorrectly doubled the springback values. This has been repaired. |
ENHANCEMENT: Springback Compensation Calculation in the Outgoing Bender Data Is Now Optional
This feature adds springback compensation into the outgoing LRA data. In previous versions it was not optional. For some benders, like the Eaton Leonard LIGHTSPEED, this addition is NOT recommended, because controls like LIGHTSPEED will automatically add the springback compensation based on the springback settings that are also included in the output data. If you're not sure if you should use this option, then determine how your bender uses the springback compensation values by adding Springback values of non-zero in the Part Setup menu, then running tests with and without this feature activated. If the values end in the control with overbend doubled, then you know that the control handles the springback compensation automatically - and this feature should not be used. |
Miscellaneous Changes
- Dashes and zeros for non-functioning values in the XYZ and LRA grids are now replaced with white spaces.
- The state of the Automatic Refresh Image checkbox in the Report page was not stored and recalled. Now it is.
- The image refresh for the report menu was changed to work better on slower computers.
