NEW - Every Bender Can Have Its Own Network Storage Path

Older versions of Benderlink stored bender data from all benders in a single path. However, it is normal to keep bender setups separate for each bender since every Chiyoda bender will have a unique setup. A good example is two Chiyoda benders with different machine lengths, or two benders that differ in bend direction (left-hand or right-hand). This feature then assumes that every bender should have a unique storage path on the drive or network.

ENHANCED - New CONVERSION Menu Option: Stop for Zero Diameter

Benderlink can now stop the process and ask for input if a zero diameter is encountered. If this feature is deactivated, then Benderlink will ignore zero value radii values. In this case, Benderlink will automatically change a zero value diameter to non-zero using this formula: (Rad Level 1) / 1.5 If the Rad Level 1 value is zero, then Benderlink will use this formula: (Rad Level 2) / 1.5 If both radius level values are zero, then Benderlink will set the diameter to 1 unit. A non-zero diameter is important for communicating with ROMER DOCS software because DOCS will report a corrupted file if it senses a zero diameter. (Some measuring center software packages, like VTube-LASER will continue with a zero diameter.) If the radius stop is enabled, and Benderlink stops for input while the measuring center is performing a recall, then the recall process will time out if the new diameter is not entered within the time out period.
