Benderlink Current Loop 4 Port - Measuring Center Side
Contents |
Description
This is a four port module that was designed for connecting a Benderlink computer or measuring center computer up to four Eaton Leonard benders.
Installation Location
This module is typically placed near the Benderlink computer which acts as the measuring center side of the connection. The module can also be attached to any measuring center using Supravision software.
About the Connections
- FOUR RJ-45 ports - This allows for use of standard ethernet cable converted to serial using RJ-45 to DB9 converters (supplied with the module)
- FOUR Military Connectors - These connectors follow the legacy Eaton Leonard style connection. You can connect standard communications cable with circular connectors at either end.
Case for Productivity
- EATON LEONARD PLUG COMPATIBLE
These electronics are compatible with the Eaton Leonard Velog, EL-2000, Premier, and PremierPlus controls. They can act as a direct replacement to the old current loop blocks.
- LIGHTENING STRIKE PROTECTION
It is our experience that the electronics in this module act as a shield for lightening strikes - usually saving the computer and computer COM port from damage.
- IN-STOCK
A replacement board can be ordered any time. The cost is about $300 for a replacement board.
- SMALL
These boards are much smaller than the original Eaton Leonard electronics.
- SINGLE VOLTAGE
These boards require only a single voltage. EL boards require two voltages.
- LED INDICATORS
These boards, unlike others, use LEDS to indicate the power state and communications state (for diagnostics).
The circular military connectors are connected to the Advanced Tubular current loop boards on the inside of the module. These ports then allow our current loop boardare connected to the cables that run through the shop to the benders.
- A four-port Quatech PCI board was installed in the Romer computer (Model: QS-PCI-100) The serial cables run from the RJ-45 ports on this module to the to the COM ports on the measuring center computer.
