Romer

Romer is one of the measuring center companies well-known for its Supravision software and portable measuring centers. As of the turn of the century, Romer has begun replacing Supravision with the newer DOCS software.

PURCHASED by HEXAGON

On August 3, 2007, Hexagon Metrology purchased ROMER-CIMCORE. Hexagon Metrology is owned by Hexagon AB.

Bender Connection

• Our Benderlink Ethernet Module allows Romers with Supravision or DOCS to connect to any VELOG, EL-2000, or Premier Eaton Leonard bender control.

Tube Measuring Probes

ROMER arms use infrared probes to measure tube shapes. The probe shown here is the 25mm probe (also called the 1 inch probe)

Calibration Probes

ROMER arms uses ball probes for calibration of the arm. The probe shown here is the 15mm steel ball probe for calibration of the arm.

Calibration Bars

This is commonly called a T-Bar. It is used to calibrate the tube measuring probes.
