Use these steps to setup VTube-STEP for use with the Network License Manager software.

== STEP 1 ==
Start the NLM software on the server computer.  (See [[Network License Manager]] for more information.)

* Install the VTube-STEP software if it is not installed.

* Be sure VTube is not running during this setup.

* Find the '''tube local settings.cfg''' file on your computer.   In Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 the file is located in '''C:\ProgramData\VTube'''

Load the cfg file into an editor like Notepad++, Notepad, or Wordpad.  Find the [Hardware Key] section:

Enable Network=0
License Type=Step

Change the address to the address of the Network License Manager server IP.  [[Network License Manager]] can show its IP address.  (This entry is an example)

Change the Enable Network value to 1.

Save and close the cfg file then run VTube.
