CHANGES to CNC BENDER
Automatic Cross Check for Module Configuration Files
CNC Bender cannot operate properly if the module configuration files are setup improperly. CNC Bender now performs a module configuration cross check diagnostic every time it starts.
If the configuration files are not perfectly matched, then you will see this warning:
Update to File Load User Window
The File Load menu User Interface adjusted slightly in order to be more consistent with other CNC Bender menus.
CHANGES to CNC PROCESSOR
CNC Processor is the program that directly controls the bender actuators.
Disallow Jog Queuing When in Cycle Hold Mode
CNC Bender no longer allows an operator to jog any axis or actuator if the Cycle Hold button is pressed. This mode is slightly different than Safe Mode Cycle Hold, where the safety scanner area is entered. When the safety scanner or mat is activated, the machine changes to a near Zero Energy State state.
Cycle Hold without stepping on the mat or safety scanner acts as a pause button without changing the bender into safe mode.
SAFETY NOTE |
Reduced CPU Usage When Idle
CNC Processor required expanded CPU usage when the bender was powered down or in manual mode. This had an effect of slowing the CNC Bender user interface.
Starting with this version, CNC Processor automatically reduces the load on the CPU when in either of these modes.
How to UPGRADE
If your operator station contains one of the versions listed below, then they can be upgraded through simple self-installation:
- CNC Bender v10-20070928
- CNC Bender v10-20070920
- CNC Bender v10-20070726b
- CNC Bender v10-20070803
- CNC Bender v10-20070828
- CNC Bender v10-20070914
See our CNC Bender Upgrade Policy page for details regarding the charges for the upgrade software.
