Basic Description

CNC Bender motion can recover and complete any controlled motion from any "Safe Mode Cycle Hold" state to a Cycle Start condition.

This includes Auto Mode motion, Step Mode motion, and Controlled Jog motion.

How It Works

If an operator steps on the mat in the middle of any motion, the SMT bender comes to a zero-energy state immediately. All axes are disabled. When the operator presses Cycle Start, then the bender will recover from the disabled state, re-enable the axes, calculate the remaining motion, and then complete all motion.

All Processlist Types

This is true of the primary and all secondary processlists running at the same time.

How To Get This Feature

This feature is available on CNC Bender software versions 10-20070425 and higher. It can be installed on older systems. The installation requires an on-site visit from an Advanced Tubular technician. Please contact either SMT or Advanced Tubular for more information about how to upgrade your benders to include this feature.
