CNC Bender can use barcode scanners by using a device called a keyboard wedge. The barcode values are converted to part names to fill in part numbers fields in CNC Bender's LOAD and SAVE menus.
In fact, anywhere CNC Bender accepts keyboard input - it can also accept barcode input.
