Check.jpg ENHANCED - New Serial Port COM Engine Available

This Benderlink can use either the new WinSoft COM engine for faster communications, or the older MarshallSoft COM engine for cases where the older engine works better.

The Benderlink.ini file is found in the c:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\BenderlinkChiyodaKeins folder.

Edit the Benderlink.ini in a notepad editor. The section to change is Communications Setup "COM Engine".

[Communications Setup]
COM Engine=WinSoft

or

[Communications Setup]
COM Engine=Marshallsoft

Check.jpg ENHANCED - New CONVERSION Menu Option

Benderlink can now ignore radii values of zero by unchecking the option in the main conversion window.

If the zero diameter is ignored, then Benderlink will automatically set the diameter to non-zero using the Rad Level 1 / 1.5 formula.

If the Rad Level 1 value is zero, then Benderlink will use the Rad Level 2 value. If both are zero, then Benderlink will set the diameter to 1 unit.

A non-zero diameter is important for when you communicating with ROMER DOCS software because DOCS will report a corrupted file if it senses a zero radius. (This is not an issue in VTube-LASER - it can ignore the diameter of zero.)
