We've added an Addata ZModem communications protocol also known as the "Addison Non-Standard Device Interface".

Check.jpg RETURNED FEATURE: ARM AS A MOUSE

We believed that none of our users used the "Arm as a Mouse" feature that allows the FARO arm to be used as a mouse - so we removed it from a previous version.

We discovered that we were wrong. It is now added back into the interface.

Check.jpg Other Features and Fixes

  • New sound files were not being copied during the install of 2.8.1. This is now fixed in this version.

  • The new guide window notifications were staying on the screen too long and obstructing the DRO. This has been fixed so that the guide box will automatically disappear the moment any scanned or point data is received inside VTube-LASER.

  • We made a change to 321 Plane-Line-Point that stopped it from working in 2.8. This has been fixed in this version.
