PRODUCT NAME
The Chiyoda bender is manufactured by Chiyoda Kogyo Co., Limited in Yodogawa-ku Osaka, Japan.
The Chiyoda name was officially changed to BECS MASTER for the U.S. market in 2006. The tube fab industry seems to be ignoring this change by the continuned reference to the bender as "Chiyoda."
MANUFACTURER
Chiyoda Kogyo is the manufacturer, and the company's web site is: http://www.chiyoda-kogyo.co.jp/english/index.htm
DISTRIBUTOR
MARUKA USA is the official distributor for Chiyoda.
The distributor was Cambridge Machinery of Goodlettsville, Tennessee for several years. Cambridge no longer sells Chiyoda benders.
BENDER CONTROL
BENDERLINK
Touch-screen Chiyoda controls version 11.19 and earlier will not communicate due to an early bug in the communications logic. This was repaired in later versions. The first version that we know of that will communicate is 11.A0. (Some refer to this as 11.21A0)
[1] See this page for information on the different control types Advanced Tubular Benderlink software can communicate with.
