This is the PC Panel we used experimentally for CNC Bender applications in of February 2008.
Heat buildup has always been an issue with PC Panels. This is one of the coolest (literally) panels we've found to date because it has a low power consumption rating (25 W typical). In addition to running cool - it's fast.
Update 2009
After a year of testing two of these units in an industrial environment, we concluded that the screen cannot endure well-enough for our recommendation. The tendency is for the screens to fade and eventually fail completely. This was never an issue with other PC Panel units.
