A common principle in motion-control is that axes are tuned with a balance of speed and precision. As maximum speed increases, motion precision will drop. As maximum speed decreases, the motion precision can be increased. This is not unique to any one control system. It is a universal principle. | A common principle in motion-control is that axes are tuned with a balance of speed and precision. As maximum speed increases, motion precision will drop. Note that when we apply the term "lower-precision" to draw-bending, our systems are often many times more accurate than many competing systems. (It can be proved.) So the term "low" is relative to our system alone. "High-precision" means VERY high precision. | Note that when we apply the term "lower-precision" to draw-bending, our systems are often many times more accurate than many competing systems. NEW - Low Level - Rotate Reset Mode
By default, the ROTATE AXIS is reset to ZERO degrees between all bends in auto mode. However, there are customer applications where it makes better sense for the rotate axis angle to never reset rotate position.
|
NEW - Low Level - Bend Axis PID Insert Mode
The Bend Axis PID Insert Mode controls if the PID COMDEFs are inserted (or not) into the processlist. |
Push-bend bend arm motion can move very slowly - a fact that can be used to tune the axis in that condition for extreme high-precision without creating problems. Draw-bending bend arm motion needs to be faster, so the axis can be tuned for lower-precision.

NEW - Spacebar Filter Mode
NEW - Notes Included in General Section of Reports
Customers have asked us to display the note data from the General Setup in all report. So now this data is automatically included in any CNC Bender report that displays the General section.
