- When running Windows with its normal startup shell, press Start,then right click on the My Computer, then select Properties.

- Or without the Windows shell running, you can use the Task Manager to run the System Properties dialog with the sysdm.cpl command. Start the Task Manager by pressing Control-Alt-Delete, choose File, then New Task (Run...), then enter the sysdm.cpl command and press Enter.
