This is software that calculates overbend necessary to overcome springback in bends.

SPRINGBACK FORMULA

  • Overbend Calculator uses a bending test and a formula that helps you predict the springback from any angle in a bend by bending and measuring two sample bends.



TEST BENDS

  • Two values called "proportional" and "fixed" are calculated for the formula by measuring two test bends.
  • The values are plugged into the springback formula to predict overbend to overcome springback at any angle.
