SMI - Sistemi Meccanici Industriali is a company that specialises in the manufacture of machinery and equipment for building components in copper pipe and light alloys. At its origins is a small owner-operated business established in 1978, which in 1985 became FCF and started manufacturing the first machines for the heat exchanger sector, on its new premises in Varmo.

Silver Line of Benders

SMI is an OEM partner that markets and supports VTube-STEP software to work with their Silver line of benders.

VTube and the new SMI Silver Export Feature

As of version 1.77, VTube-STEP can export data to the Silver line of bender controls, allowing tube data to be converted from any solid model program into the Silver benders.

REPAIR: The TubeCalc Project File Linear Units Import

Linear units are now always properly imported into VTube from TubeCalc files. Previous versions would sometimes improperly interpret the Inch or Millimeter setting in the TubeCalc file.

ENHANCED: The Linear Units Switches to the Import File Units

VTube now always switches to the linear units used in the imported TubeCalc, Solid Edge, or Supravision file.
