Step 1 - FOR HASP KEYS ONLY: Is the Hardware Key Driver Installed?

The hardware key driver must be installed for the key to be used on your system. If necessary, download and install the driver.

If you know that you have installed the hardware key driver on your system at least one time, then skip to step 2. If you are not sure, then it is okay to install the driver again.

NOTE: This is only necessary if your key looks like one of these two:

Step 2 - Locate or Download the KeyCheck Program

Find the keycheck.exe program. Often this program is installed with any Advanced Tubular software that uses a hardware key - usually in a folder called "key".

If you cannot find it, then please download the installation file and install the keycheck program.

Step 3 - Plug in the Hardware Key and Run the KeyCheck Program

Plug in the key. The key will look like one of the two shown on the right.

If the hardware driver is installed on the computer, then a light will switch in the key. (Both keys have an LED light to indicate they are active.)

Step 4 - Run the KeyCheck Program

Run the hardware key program on the system with the key plugged in. It should find the key are report how the key is setup in the log on the screen.

If KeyCheck finds the key, then it report important data about the key setup. For example, it will show if the key is active (if it is a time-limited key). It will also show which licenses are programmed into the key.

You can recheck for the key by pressing the "Check" button with the lightening bolt.

If you want to copy the contents of the log, then you can right-click and choose a copy-to-clipboard option.

If the key is not found by the KeyCheck program, then please contact us for further assistance.
