REPEATABLE END SCANS
Repeatability issues on the ends is the most common problem in GR&R tests. Fortunately it is also the easiest to fix. It involves training users to perform an easy check after VTube calculates the end points visually. |
Use Visual Feedback
This is an example of the the end point projected so that it is in line with the end wall:
The master centerline includes tangent points and midpoints along the centerline.
The aligned tangents and midpoints can be compared to the master points.
The deviation from master tangents and midpoints is a true 3D distance - which means that they are spherical radius true position deviations. |
Intersection Point 3D Deviations Positions Form Spherical Radius True Positions
The 3D deviations for the XYZ centerline end and intersection points are also the equivalent of spherical radius true position values. The 3D deviations shown in the XYZ grid in the Inspection Data menu show these deviation values. |
