Moving the Tube for longer Parts

  • When measuring long tubes, it may not be possible to reach the full tube without moving the arm or tube. The steps below show the process of measuring and moving a tube to produce measured data. This process is not as accurate as using Leapfrog but can still be used to measure long tubes.

  • Any number of moves can be combined to measure any distance.

Start a Tube Measurement

Press the Move button in the guide box after measuring at least 3 straights.

Leapfrog Kit - Magnetic or Plate

</td>
This is the magnetic leapfrog kit that we offer on our store. Each magnet has a conical seat attached to a magnet that can be placed anywhere for leapfrogging

These are the leapfrog plates that we offer on our store. The plates have three numbered conical seats or spheres. With the conical seats the ball probe needs to be used and with the spheres, the laser can be used. Vtl-leapfrog plate.png
