General Terms of Sale Information This information is provided to help our customers understand our standard terms of sale

 

Payment Terms

Standard Terms for sales of our pre-developed software

• 50% advanced deposit (see the note below)
• 50% due net 30 days from shipment.
• Note: These terms are for U.S.-based customers. The purchase order is activated when the 50% deposit actually arrives at our office. International customer terms are pre-pay only.

For projects that include Hardware, Custom Development, or On-Site Service

• 50% advanced deposit (See Note 1)
  
• 40% due before shipment or travel (See Note 2)
  
• 10% due Net 30 days
  
  

Note 1 - The purchase order is activated when the 50% deposit actually arrives at our office.
Note 2 - We ship the product and/or travel to the site as soon as the payment for 60% of the order arrives at our office.



For all projects that include software

• Our software is shipped with a license-control device that is programmed to allow the software to initially operate for a limited time until 100% payment is made. After 100% payment is made, the hardware key is exchanged for a new one that is permanent.
  

Minimum Fee

• The price in the quotation is a minimum fee for the project. Adjusting the terms or the specifications of this quotation may cause Advanced Tubular to adjust the price quoted.

Shipment Terms

All shipments are made by courier, e-mail attachments, or hand-delivery. For courier service, we ship using traceable courier (like FedEx).

Deposits

Deposits are used as surety in case the customer cancels the project after a purchase order is issued. In case of cancellation, some of the deposit may be refundable. The exact amount is determined by the costs incurred by Advanced Tubular Technologies before the cancellation occurred. The costs may include hardware that is custom-designed or ordered specifically for the customer. At the customer’s request and expense, we can ship these items to the customer plant even if the order is canceled.

Warranty Terms

Advanced Tubular SOFTWARE

Even though any software we develop for you usually exceeds the specifications that we include in our specifications to you, we guarantee that it at least will meet all of them completely. If we discover that our software is found to be defective, then we will repair it for you. The warranty does not include travel costs for on-site repair.

Advanced Tubular HARDWARE

We warrant our hardware for 90 days. The warranty does not include travel costs for on-site repair. Failures due to neglect or “acts of God” are not covered in our warranty. Advanced Tubular reserves the right to make the final determination regarding all warranty issues. Advanced Tubular reserves the right to modify the terms of warranty without notice.

DISCLAIMER: NON-ATT EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE

We are making this quotation in good faith since we believe that the combined components in the entire work cell will function to meet the needs of your application. However, please understand that we cannot make (nor do we want to imply) a money-back guarantee that the equipment to which we connect will always work perfectly. We recognize the responsibility we have in making our part of the system work properly (as is shown in the warranty above). But we hope that you understand that we cannot accept responsibility for any problem due to the failure of other equipment or actions of other personnel for which we are not responsible.



Therefore, if any event occurs outside the control of Advanced Tubular Technologies that results in the cancellation of this project, then it is still necessary to pay all charges incurred by Advanced Tubular Technologies for the total time and materials it has invested in this project.

Additional Days of Installation/Training

Additional days of training, custom programming, or installation can be purchased while we are on-site. Extra on-site service is charged at the rate of US $225 per hour. Travel expenses are charged at our cost. We charge up to $50 per Diem (per person) for miscellaneous expenses. Travel time to and from the site is also charged at the rate of $50 per hour.

Extended Installation Times and Costs Due To Delays

If the success of this project depends on variables outside the control of Advanced Tubular Technologies, any delays out of our control that extend our installation trip will be billed to your company accordingly.

Taxes and Duties

The customer is liable for any taxes, duties, and other similar charges incurred.

Price Duration

All prices quoted are valid for 60 days from the date on the quotation. Please contact us if you need an extension to this time limit.
