Cycle Hold is the button that sets CNC Bender into a pause state for motion. Cycle Start is the opposite of Cycle Hold.

There are two Cycle Hold states:

  1. Regular Cycle Hold
  2. Safe Mode Cycle Hold

Regular CYCLE HOLD

In regular Cycle Hold, the bender pauses, but all axes stay energized.

Gear warning.jpg SAFETY NOTE

Do NOT work inside the tools of a bending machine when it is only in regular Cycle Hold mode!

THIS IS WHY: In regular Cycle Hold, the bender pauses, but all axes stay energized.

If the machine is power on and not in Safe Mode Cycle Hold, then it is critical to keep hands out of the working area of the machine. Always press the E-stop before working on the machine.

Safe Mode CYCLE HOLD

Safe Mode Cycle Hold is activated when the safety mat or safety scanners are activated. In this state, the bender is de-energizes all axes and most outputs. See the Safe Mode Cycle Hold page for more details.
