We added and tested HERBER MES file correction support that allows VTube-LASER to correct HERBER benders through a network connection.

We added and tested HERBER SOL file protocol that allows VTube-LASER to send NEW data to the HERBER benders through a network connection.

VTube-LASER operators know that previous versions of VTube-LASER require that you aim the LASER scanner at the part when you press the accept button at the end of a scan. (For the ROMER, this is one of the two side buttons. For the FARO, this is the red button.)

We agree that this requirement is not helpful or necessary. So, as of this version, VTube-LASER removes that requirement. VTube will watch for and react to the accept button even if no data is incoming.

A customer discovered that the Construct Tube feature was not working in the previous version due to changes in the measuring code logic.

We fixed the broken code in this version.

(Note: VTube-STEP is included in the VTube-LASER license. It is used for importing model data.)

We found issues with the collected objects in VTube-STEP mode.

• For example, the selected collected object (see the orange object) would never delete from the screen - even if the operator selected it and pressed delete.
  
  
• This issue could cause index errors in the Collection Features list memory displayed in the grid.
  
  
• The Collection Features Grid would not update automatically after a delete of the models on the screen.
  
  

All of these issues have been fixed.

• VTube-LASER will stop a Construct Tube process with ROMER arms if the LASER mode is active. It will also issue a warning to turn the LASER off.
  
  
• The laser stripe data is now displayed on the screen with lines between the points. This feature makes the stripes much easier to see on the screen.
