VTube-LASER now allows you to shift the total correction between ends using the End Length Filter menu in Bender Setup.

This feature resembles the End Tag feature in the original Supravision software.

It is particularly useful for any application that starts with large volumes of pre-cut tubing. There is no option for easily changing the tube length - so it is important to allow VTube-LASER to spread the total length change during the correction process to the front straight, the back straight, or both evenly.

If you import models with 180-degree bends, then you will use the Split Bend collection feature in VTube-STEP and the Split Bend measure feature in VTube-LASER.

In that case, this is a critical update for you that addresses an issue we discovered during some research into Split Bend measuring issues with a customer. The problem we found could cause the centerline of the Split Bend construction to be short by 0.020 inches (0.5 mm).

If you use Split Bend to import solid models or measure 180-degree bends, then this update is critical for you.

We discovered that, when you delete the entire list of Cut Planes, VTube-LASER will most likely bring at least one of them back. (They are not cleared permanently.)

This has been fixed so that cleared Cut Planes never reappear.

VTube-LASER can now report absolute CONRAC bender corrections using new HTML report template values.

The two new tokens to use inside the html tags are:

  • <vtube_val>Array_Lcor_Absolute</vtube_val>
  • <vtube_val>Array_Rcor_Absolute</vtube_val>

VTube-STEP mode can now import RONIKolli7 bender simulator ASCII XYZ files.

That data imported includes:

  • Part Number (filename)
  • Material Note
  • Diameter
  • Wall Thickness
  • XYZ + centerline Radius



VTube also calculates the default radius and the Cut Length during the import.
