If you accidentally delete a file that is not in the recycle bin (like when you delete files from a flash drive, or you press Ctrl-Delete), it is possible to recover those files if you act quickly. The files are not actually deleted. They are marked as available space to overwrite by other files. So if you delete a file, then immediately try to recover it, then there is a good chance you can get it back with an undelete utility program like Recuva. It is free, and you can download it here. |
