DOCS

DOCS is a software package that is sold by Romer. The word "DOCS" means Data Overlay Camera System. Read more about DOCS at these sites:

Comparing DOCS to Supravision

Supravision and DOCS are developed by Romer. Supravision is an older program that is quite stable. The DOCS software is much newer.

Slightly MORE complex. From the demo of the software, it appears that measuring a tube is not too complex. I believe that more setup is required than in Supravision.	Slightly LESS complex. Measuring tube shapes is very simple once you become used to the structure of the Supravision menus and what they actually do. The user interface is easy to understand after a couple of days of use.

Our Experience

We have demo Supravision software and know that Supravision works well. We do not have a demo version of DOCS software, so we are unable to give a recommendation regarding DOCS from personal experience. The documentation shows that DOCS is more powerful.
